The Iron Library is a Foundation of the Georg Fischer Corporation of Schaffhausen and for historians engaged in research into the history of engineering one of the most important libraries worldwide. Housed in the Klostergut Paradies, the library boasts some 40,000 books and periodicals on the subject of iron and iron-related subjects, many of which are historical treasures. All the works in the library can be used free of charge.
