Founded in 1802, the company is headquartered in Switzerland and has some 130 companies, 50 of them production facilities, in 30 countries. Its 13,000 employees generated sales revenue of 3.5 billion Swiss francs in 2010.

Consulting company KWD has scrutinized and rated websites from all over the world for the eighth time this year. Of the 70 Swiss companies whose websites were rated, Georg Fischer took fifth place – an excellent result.
