From Tree to Tree – Mindful Walking

Step by step into presence.

Stand upright, feel the ground beneath your feet, and breathe in and out calmly.

Gaze at the first tree and silently set an intention, e.g., “I walk to come home to myself.”

Begin to walk slowly – step by step, with full awareness.

Feel the contact with the ground with each step and breathe in your own rhythm.

Be present: in your body, with your breath, on your path.

When you reach the tree, pause for a moment and touch it mindfully.

Feel the bark – notice support, structure, maybe even warmth.

Breathe in deeply – stability.

Breathe out – letting go.

Look up into the crown: What is growing within you?

Continue on to the next tree – each one becomes a station of inner reflection.

Meet each tree like an old friend: roots – grounding, bark – protection, crown – growth.

When you arrive at the last tree, pause in stillness and reflect on the path you’ve taken.

Thank yourself and each tree for these mindful steps.

Carry the peace and clarity with you as you move forward on your journey.

Gazing into the distance

Behind the old garden wall, a quiet space invites you to pause.
Framed by shade and sky, it offers a clear view – and a clearer mind.

The hanging canopy

Step into the quiet shade beneath the trees. Settle in, breathe deeply, and let the rustling leaves guide you to stillness. Alone or together – find calm, feel grounded, and simply be.

mill wheel

In tune with the mill wheel

Sit by the mill wheel, close your eyes, and listen. Let the rhythm of the water steady your breath and clear your mind.
Inhale – let it flow. Exhale – let go.
